Think Out Loud: Music Serving the Twin Cities is a compilation album where 100% of the album profits go directly to serving the homeless in the Twin Cities, through charitable giving to agencies like Sharing and Caring Hands and St. Stephens.[1]
The project was launched and produced by Tyler Blanski, a Minnesota writer and musician. Local musicians/bands Charlie Parr, Cloud Cult, Chris koza, Pieta Brown, The Pines, Roma di Luna, Dave Simonett of Trampled by Turtles, Ben Kyle of Romantica, Psalm One, Jacqueline Ultan, Danny Warnock, George Hadfield, Josh Dekker, Mark Stockert, Meredith Rachel, Ashleigh Still and Chastity Brown all submitted original musical composition(s) or accompaniment to the album.
Think Out Loud is engineered by Adam Krinsky at the Minneapolis Media Institute and Mark Stockert at Underwood Studios, mixed by Adam Krinsky, and mastered by Tom Garneau at AUDIOACTIVE.
The effort to fight homelessness through music has raised some speculation.[2]
All songs by Tyler Blanski, except where noted in parenthetical.
